St. Louis’ state-of-the-art convention complex features group tours of the 70,000-seat Trans World Dome by reservation.
The Gateway Arch

Designed by architect Eero Saarinen in 1947, is the nation’s tallest monument at 630 feet.  Dedicated in 1964, it provides a panoramic view of St. Louis form the observation deck, accessible by tram. 
The Museum of Westward Expansion 314-982-1410
Located directly under the legs of the Arch, vividly recaptures the journey of Lewis & Clark as they ventured across the wilderness.
The Old Cathedral 314-231-3250
(Basilica of St. Louis) located just west of the Arch is the oldest cathedral west of the Mississippi on the site of the log cabin church built by Laclede.
The Wainwright Building 314-340-6800
On 7th St. was built in 1891 and is the world’s first skyscraper.  Still in use as a government center, the building has been named a historic site. 
The Old Courthouse 314-425-4468
Framed by the silhouette of the Arch, was the sight of the original Dred Scott case that made its way to the Supreme Court in 1857.

Christ Church Cathedral
Is the oldest Episcopal congregation west of the Mississippi River.  The Cathedral is on the National Register of Historic Places and is a National Historic Landmark.

Is the childhood home of the famous author who wrote “Little Boy Blue” and “Wilden, Blinken and Nod. “The large collection of antique toys brings out the child in everyone.

Is the home of the 1819 house of Missouri’s second governor and a restored 1920’s Dentzel carousel.

Bounded by I-64, Kingshighway, Lindell and Skinker is the site of the 1904 World’s Fair.  Historic landmarks on the grounds include the Art Museum, Science Center, Zoo, Jewel Box, History Museum and The Muny.  Sites may be reached by the Shuttle Bug.

(Missouri Historical Society) in Forest Park is quickly becoming a major St. Louis attraction since opening its salute to the 1904 World’s Fair.

Is a spectacular art deco floral conservatory bursting with floral creations on the ground of Forest Park.

In Forest Park is one of the most-respected zoos in the country.  Originally under the direction of Marlin Perkins of “Wild Kingdom” fame, the Zoo is home to a new Primate House, Big Cat Country, a Children’s Zoo, minitrain and more.  Best of all, admission is FREE!

Provides an incredible, hands on, interactive education experience for every age with detailed displays and an OMNIMAX theater.
Missouri Botanical Gardens 314-577-9400
Is the oldest public botanical garden in the nation.  Located on Shaw Avenue, just east of Kingshighway, it covers 79 acres and features unique and popular attractions including the Japanese Gardens and the Climatron. 
The St. Louis Cathedral 314-533-0544
Located on Lindell Blvd. was built in 1914 and features a dome 22 stories high.  The cathedral is decorated with the largest array of mosaics in any one building in the world.

Is much more than just the log cabin where the great general planned his pre-presidential strategy.  It’s also a natural animal preserve accessed by tram tours that culminate in a beer garden flowing with hospitality only Anheuser-Busch can provide.
Jefferson Barracks Historic Park 314-544-5714
Is devoted to military history and recreation. Re-enactments transport observers the time when Robert E. Lee and Ulysses S. Grant served here.

In Stanton, Missouri just one hour west of St. Louis is a national wonder with guided tours, boat rides and canoe rentals.

In west St. Louis county houses over 300 pieces including locomotives, passenger cars, automobiles, streetcars, buses an aircraft.

Remains a staple of downtown life since its founding in 1779.  Open on weekends, the open-air market includes 148 stalls with farm fresh and imported produce, meats, fish, herbs, and more.

Offers a rare glimpse of what it was like to stroll through a Victorian-walking park.  Filled with ornate gazebos and statuary, the park created by Henry Shaw in 1868 and is now a National Historic Landmark.

45 minutes west of St. Louis in Gray Summit, Missouri is a wonderful of nature walk through forest, prairies and wildflower fields.  Opens daily at 7 a.m.

Got its start as the Fine Arts Palace of the 1904 World’s Fair.  Today it ran among the top ten art museums in the country, featuring works from every period.

Is St. Louis’ premier visual and performing arts center with classes and performances.

Was formed in 1985 as a theater company specializing in ensemble one-ring circus.  The classical European-style circus makes it home under the Big Top in Faust Park where no spectator is more than 40 feet from the ring.  A summer favorite of adults and children, Circus Flora tours other cities during the remainder of the year.
